USI inaugurates its second plant in Jalisco

Universal Scientific Industrial de México (USI de México) inaugurated its second manufacturing plant in Tonalá Jalisco, this facility represents an investment of 82 million dollars and the creation of 3 thousand jobs, consolidating its presence in the region.

Bernardo Santos, general manager of the Guadalajara and Tonalá plants, emphasized the mission of the new facilities in fostering a collaborative environment that combines cutting-edge technology and local talent.

Matthew Behringer, senior corporate vice president of COD and general manager of the company's North American operations, highlighted the strategic importance of the new plant in Tonalá to improve USI's service capabilities and better meet the demand of its customers in the dynamic market.

Since its first plant built in Jalisco in 1997, USI has been a key player in the technological and economic development of the state. The new plant in Tonalá specializes in the manufacturing of electronic products for sectors such as automotive, consumer electronics and communications.
