Aguascalientes has established itself as an attractive investment destination for various companies in the industrial market; mainly from the automotive sector followed by the aeronautical, technological, agro-industrial and health sectors.
Capital from countries such as the United States, Japan, Sweden, China and Germany, among others; They have found in this state a safe and profitable place to concentrate their operations, favored by its strategic location, accessibility and qualified workforce.

Only in the second quarter of 2021, 3 important investments were made for new constructions, which belong to the “Build to Suit” (BTS) modality and mostly belong to Asian capital.
The first one corresponds to the Japanese company Fanuc, a world leader in industrial automation and with a presence in more than 100 countries; which invested 8 million dollars in its new plant built on a 60 thousand square meter plot of land in the Aguascalientes Norte submarket.
This investment will create 50 direct jobs as well as 200 indirect jobs, making the state a producer as well as a distributor of industrial automation products and services for Mexico and Central America.
For its part, the Chinese company Xinquan México Automotive Trim, specialized in the manufacture of high-end automotive components, made an investment of 40 million dollars for its new plant, with 13,640 square meters of construction, also located in the Aguascalientes Norte submarket.
They seek to create 150 direct jobs so that once put into operation, the plant is focused on the production of interior automotive parts.

The Swedish-American company Autoliv, a global leader in the production of steering wheels for automobiles, began work on its new plant located in the Aguascalientes Sur submarket and for which it allocated 35 million dollars. The plant will have an area of 30 thousand square meters, which will generate 3,000 direct jobs between administrative and operational.
This important state of Bajío, which at the end of 2Q 2021 concentrated 13% of the demand in the region, will continue to offer important opportunities for investors, specifically of Asian origin, who already know the area and value the integration of supply chains in various sectors, mainly the automotive industry.
