San Martín Texmelucan new industrial park in Puebla

The Government of Puebla will allocate an investment of 300 million pesos to the construction of an industrial park in San Martín Texmelucan, a work that is expected to start in 2022, said the head of the Ministry of Economy (SE), Olivia Salomón Vibaldo.

Its objective is to generate infrastructure that allows the installation of new companies and investments of local, national and foreign capital in Puebla.

In this regard, the state governor, Miguel Ángel Barbosa, commented at a press conference that the project is already a fact and its location has already been defined, indicating that the company that owns it has already begun with the execution of the necessary procedures and permits by the authority to start the work.

In addition, he pointed out that there is already a dialogue with the municipal president of Texmelucan, Norma Layón Aarun, to have a coordinated work between both levels, while the state government continues the regularization of the Tehuacán park.

This effort is aimed at investment initiatives in the automotive-auto parts, clean energy, metalworking and plastics sectors, and the construction industry.

On the other hand, they reported that the development of six new business projects is expected in the state, for the sectors of: agribusiness, tools, hospital medical services and the textile and clothing sector, which are estimated to generate more than 1,760 new jobs in the entity. .

Finally, the state governor said that they are working together with 120 entrepreneurs from different clusters such as agribusiness, energy or automotive.
