Phillips Industries of North America continues with its expansion project at its plant in Arteaga, Coahuila, in order to increase its presence in the entity and meet the demand of its customers in the United States.

The plant, dedicated to the production of harnesses for trucks and trailers, announced last July the investment of 20 million dollars for the expansion of its facilities, which will allow them to considerably increase their production volume.

Likewise, the firm reported that they have already demolished the wall that divided the original floor of the warehouse that they built with this expansion, in this way they will start their activities with the aim of continuing to contribute to the generation of jobs and development opportunities for their collaborators.

During 2021, the company made a commitment to consolidate its presence in Coahuila, with a capital injection of 30 million dollars, the same amount that was divided into two parts, since in March 2021 it inaugurated a 180,000-square-foot factory.

In July of the same year, its original equipment division president, Filiberto Coello, shared that a second expansion would be carried out in the same plant and that they would also have a landed property of 180,000 square feet, with which they would reach 1,800 employees in total.

“What has brought us to Coahuila is the ease of doing business with the support of the Ministry of Economy. Security is another factor for which our clients and owners feel very safe in coming to the region”, concluded the manager.
