Nestlé will invest one billion dollars to increase its production lines in Mexico

Nestlé's representative for the Americas, Steve Presley, and Nestlé Mexico's CEO, Fausto Costa, announced that with an investment of one billion dollars the company will begin an increase in its production lines in Mexican territory in a period from 2025 to 2027.

The investment program includes increasing the company's production capacity lines in Veracruz, Guanajuato, Querétaro and the State of Mexico as well as the development of a new distribution center that together will consolidate Nestlé Mexico as an export center.

Nestlé Mexico will continue to invest in the development of the Mexican countryside, through its responsible sourcing programs, such as NESCAFE and the Nestlé cacao plan, which operate in the states of Chiapas, Tabasco, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Puebla and Guerrero.

In addition to the investment in infrastructure and special projects, the company estimates that the purchase of agricultural products that will be made between 2025 and 2027 will reach resources in the order of 2.45 million dollars, thus supporting local farmers and contributing to the socioeconomic growth of the country.
