“2023 will be to consolidate our operations and grow in the markets where we operate. In addition to directing resources to increase productivity and innovation. This, after a couple of years of strong growth, we will focus on seeing how we will consolidate in each of the markets where we operate," he said in a conference with local media, within the framework of the annual ordinary shareholders' meeting. .

In his speech, Jorge Touché Zambrano, the company's director of administration and finance, said that part of the resources to be invested will be obtained from financing and the other through available cash flow.

“Much of this investment that we see this year is added to the investments made in the last two years of 500 million dollars (between purchases and organic growth) so it will be 700 million dollars; For Lamosa it is important to consolidate all this, strengthen and take advantage of the opportunities where we already are and other resources will be allocated to improve productivity”, said the businessman.

Federico Toussaint said that Tesla's investment is positive, however, the state of Nuevo León will have challenges in terms of infrastructure, such as water, energy, housing and transportation.

“In addition to the above, the great challenge that Nuevo León has with the arrival of Elon Musk's assembly company is the infrastructure. It will be useless to have housing, if there is no electricity, water, natural gas, drainage, services in general. We are going to have to live a few years where we will see that the demand will be greater than the supply that we can give”.
