The San Luis Potosí-Villa de Arriaga corridor led demand in the first quarter of the year with 60%, followed by the San Luis Potosí Industrial Zone submarket, which accounts for the remaining 40%.

In mid-April 2023, it was also announced that the Spanish company Gestamp is considering investment plans for this lowland market that will be directed at the design, development, and manufacture of metallic components for automobiles.

For its part, the Chinese company Asiaway Automotive Components, a supplier to the automotive sector, inaugurated the first phase of its new plant located in the WTC Industrial Park in San Luis Potosí. The surface of the building is 23 thousand square meters

where an investment of 41.4 million dollars was made, which is complemented by its 4,700 m2 plant located in the Logistik I Industrial Park. The company contemplates

a project that will be carried out in a second phase where it plans to invest an additional 372.6 million dollars.
