Guanajuato, Querétaro and San Luis Potosí reported a demand for 127 thousand square meters (m²) of industrial real estate during the first two months of the year, which is equivalent to almost 19.5% of the national demand that was around 650 thousand m², according to reports. of the real estate platform Solili.

Of the three entities, Guanajuato stands out for absorbing the largest proportion, with 53 thousand square meters, 41.7% of the 127 thousand m² that the region accumulated.

The industrial boost that this area of the country reports is related to the development of the automotive industry, which has begun to incorporate advanced processes that are aimed at electromobility.

In the period January-February 2022, San Luis Potosí exceeded the area absorbed in the first quarter of 2021 by 150%; With this behavior, it is expected that this demarcation will register an important movement at the end of the first quarter of the year.
