Jason Sun, CEO of Hisun in North America, stated that the project is supported by a series of factors that will help the company achieve its objectives, since they evaluated the geographical location as a strategic point. The investment amount will reach 152 million dollars, the goal of 5 thousand vehicles in the first year of operations and 50 thousand units manufactured by 2024.

Marco Villarreal, general director of Hisun, indicated that at the start of activities the factory will import all of its supplies, since 50% will originate from the United States and the other 50% from China, but later they will look for suppliers in Mexico to obtain all the raw material in the country, he said.
