ZF Group has an ongoing investment of US$150 million in its second plant in Ciudad Juárez. The site will manufacture up to 1,000 inverters.
Armando Cadena López, ZF's plant director, said construction is 70% complete and the site will start operating in January 2024.

“Juárez is a key player in electromobility. We were chosen among five sites to make this new product and we won because we have a highly qualified labor force”, said Cadena López.
The new plant already has three clients. Cadena López reported that the site already has US$850 million in committed sales.

ZF Group will invest in this site until 2029. The first phase will end in 2026 with an investment of US$200 million and the second phase with US$300 million will end in 2029. The new building is in the south of Ciudad Juárez.
