Yara, a company that produces solutions for crop nutrition, inaugurated a new plant for the physical mixing of fertilizers in Altamira, Tamaulipas, in which it invested between 12 and 15 million dollars.
The fourth plant in Mexico of the Norwegian firm, which begins operations, consists of 10,600 square meters of construction on a 2.5-hectare site.
And it will increase its distribution capacity with a potential of 120,000 tons per year, in addition, it will create 40 direct jobs and in high season periods, 30 direct jobs will be added.
According to information from Milenio, construction of the plant began in February 2020, and 450 jobs were created.
