Whirlpool drives key advances in global appliance production from Mexico.

In Mexico, Whirlpool has two technology centers;  one of them located on the Apodaca campus in Nuevo León and the other in Celaya Guanajuato, between them the company has invested more than 25 million dollars and employs more than 450 people.

The innovations in Whirlpool's technology centers in Mexico have marked a significant milestone in the evolution of home appliances, consolidating Whirlpool as a benchmark in technological innovation.

It was also announced that 80% of Whirlpool's production in Mexico is exported mainly to the United States and Canada, markets that represent 58% of the company's global sales. Products are also sent to Latin America, a region that concentrates 16% of the company's global sales. % of the global supply, that is, three out of every four products that Whirlpool sells in the world are sold on the American continent.
