Salomón stressed that, with investments like this, Puebla could become "the capital of electric vehicles in America", adding that the industrial parks that settle there must comply with ecological technology to house large companies, otherwise they will not be able to install.
The official commented that, for the moment, there is no data on how many companies will be installed in the new Volkswagen plant in Puebla, since it will depend on each one and the meters required.
Likewise, he explained that the manufacturing area will be in the municipal capital, which is located 40 minutes from the Volkswagen primary plant in Cuautlancingo, noting that the first stage of the industrial warehouse of the Link EV electric car company in Ciudad Modelo has already begun. ,

However, the results of the tender for the special facilities that will receive the production line are still pending, "Despite this, in March 2023 they will be taking out the first production line of this factory," said Salomón.
For its part, the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra), reported that in the Puebla region there are 21 industrial parks, of which 18 are complexes that have been operating for more than 15 years and that require urgent maintenance.
