During the award ceremony of the ‘National Housing Award 2019-2020 ′, the award in the category“ Sustainable Housing Development ’was awarded to Vinte.

The Casa Cero gas project, located in the Real Granada development in Tecámac, State of Mexico, was the winner.

The award ceremony was made through the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development, in coordination with the National Housing Organizations.

In this way, the Government of Mexico recognized with the National Housing Award projects that fulfilled the best construction techniques. Likewise, the architectural, technological and management practice in housing production processes was taken into account.

For his part, the head of Sedatu, Román Meyer Falcón, mentioned that 80% of the urban structures found in the country are housing.

For this reason, it is important to promote public policies that promote orderly development and the correct adaptation that guarantees the human right to housing.

Over 18 years, Vinte has received 9 national awards for housing and one state for urban development and housing. In this way, their practices were part of the categories: best housing practice, best executed project, sustainable housing development, among others.

Likewise, its new “Casa Cero” implementation features an induction cooktop, solar panels and heaters with electric backup.

These amenities generate a monthly saving of 750 pesos, while avoiding the emission of half a ton of CO2 for families with limited resources.
