Vinte closes 4Q 2021 with record growth

Vinte estimated in a statement that its growth in the last quarter of 2021 would be 13% higher compared to 2020.

If materialized, it would represent a record level of income for a quarter in the entire history of the company.

The developer expects to generate a positive operating flow in the year, thus reporting two consecutive years with outstanding figures.

On the other hand, its net debt decreased by 253 million pesos (12.5 million dollars) during this quarter.

In addition, in the last quarter of the year, Vinte added 843 million pesos (41.5 million dollars) in cash and temporary investments.

In annual terms, the construction company expects a growth of more than 10% compared to the income registered in 2019.

"This year is a base year, because it represents the period before the covid-19 pandemic and its impact on the economy," the statement said.

Likewise, he highlighted that close to 40% of sales during 2021 were made through the digital platform. However, they have not yet specified the number of units placed.

Even at the beginning of January of this year, the company announced a strategic investment in the technology company Homie, a transaction that is part of a new round of raising capital for the Mexican startup, a digital platform that facilitates the rental of real estate.

Sergio Leal, Chairman of the Board of Vinte, commented that the initiative was carried out with a vision in the digitalization of data and machine learning, without giving details of the amount of investment.
