The US capital company, Vertiv, inaugurated one of its largest and most sophisticated centers for the manufacture of data storage technology based in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.

To install its plant, Vertiv analyzed four states in the country and Nuevo León was selected for its competitive advantages. This is Vertiv's fourth factory in Mexico and with it they plan to turn the entity into their operations center for all of Latin America.

The company will be installed in the Finsa Industrial Park, Santa Catarina, and will develop a data warehouse for information technology, cybersecurity, electromobility and artificial intelligence.

For his part, Sergio Argüelles, president and general director of FINSA, the industrial park where Vertiv is installed, said that, with the arrival of said company, the site once again becomes part of global technological development by receiving in its state-of-the-art facilities to big-name companies.

Worldwide, the company has 15 plants and four in Mexico (Reynosa, Mexicali, Tijuana y Santa Catarina).

Giordano Albertazzi, president for America of Vertiv indicated that they also have engineering laboratories and a development center that they will build in Apodaca where they will employ 200 engineers.

It should be noted that, since October 2021, 82 investment projects have been confirmed, of which 44 are new investments and 38 correspond to company expansions.
