
From the United Kingdom, Nuevo León Governor Samuel García Sepúlveda announced that Unilever will invest $800 million in a new production facility, which will generate up to 850 direct jobs.

According to the release, Unilever's new headquarters, located in Nexxus and Nexxus 2, within the Salinas Industrial Park in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo León, promises to be a driver of innovation and exports for all of North America.
This new plant will produce deodorants, conditioners, shampoos, and creams from brands such as Dove and Sedal for export to the United States and Canada.

Unilever is not only the only company investing in Nuevo León. The state governor's promotional tour across the continent attracted more than $2 billion in foreign direct investment and created more than 11,300 direct jobs, according to the latest press release.
