Trouw Nutrition, an international company that specializes in the manufacturing of the food industry, gave the go-ahead for the start of activities of its production facility called Proyecto Aguila in the municipality of Colón Querétaro.

The industrial facility represents the company's largest investment in Mexico, with an approximate amount of one billion pesos. The manufacturing complex has a projected production capacity of approximately 100 thousand tons per year and is designed to meet the growing demand of the agri-food sector in the country.

The operations focus on the manufacturing of products for animal nutrition, with three production lines specialized in monogastrics, ruminants and pelletized products.

The economic impact of the investment in the new plant will generate more than 150 direct jobs and more than 400 indirect jobs, contributing to the economic and social development of the State of Querétaro.
