Its geographical location and proximity to the US border, the municipality of Torreón in the state of Coahuila, has become a natural contender to benefit from the relocation of companies to Mexico, from the reconfiguration of supply chains.

It was reported that the municipality receives visits from potential investors every week and currently, there are around 40 industrial investment projects in “pipeline”, some with significant progress and others in initial stages.

They expect attraction mainly from the sectors in which the state has highlighted, which are the automotive and high-tech industries, thanks to the strategy that is being carried out, the logistical advantages, and a series of tax incentives for new companies. .

Currently, 250 million pesos have been invested in roads, with municipal budgets, without leaving aside other permanent investments in paving and water works, with the construction of 10 wells and a new wastewater treatment plant, which guarantees greater availability of the resource for the industry.
