Tijuana reinforces its industrial vocation with new investments

Tijuana could receive investments of 300 million dollars to face the challenges derived from wastewater treatment, as was announced after the visit of the United States ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar.

According to Mayor Montserrat Caballero, cooperation between the two countries is vital to resolve a problem that affects both Mexico and the United States, since developing a green mega-region is a high priority on both agendas.

In addition to this announcement, the 2022 industrial space investment program was recently presented, where Carlos Jaramillo, president of Economic and Industrial Development of Tijuana (Deitac) and the leader of the Coordination of Industrial Developers, Adriana Eguia, announced the sectors benefited.

In this sense, they pointed out that investments of 450 million dollars are estimated, mainly from foreign companies interested in injecting capital into the city due to the geographical growth that the area has had.
