The Home Depot began operations of its new Global Technology Center in Monterrey with which it seeks to attract and integrate the best talent of professionals to work with the technology teams of the United States and Canada, which perform with high quality standards.
The team will be made up of people from diverse backgrounds who will help each other build and develop technical and leadership skills. The result will be an increasingly agile and skilled technological organization across all teams in Mexico and the United States.

Fahim Siddiqui, executive vice president and chief information officer of The Home Depot, said he is excited about this new Technology Center, “I want to thank all of our associates for the extraordinary work they have done to achieve this goal.”
“Our Technology team is made up of associates from across North America who focus on world-class solutions and products to make home improvement projects easier and more accessible,” he said.
The new Technology Center will allow the company to prioritize efficiency and collaborative work so that The Home Depot increases the creation of industry-leading technology solutions. It will also be an integral part of expanding its technological capabilities and consolidating itself as an organization of excellence.
The company will benefit, for example, from program alignment, sharing of best practices and knowledge, improvements in code quality, and the ability to perform instant code reviews.
