The company specialized in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of Aircraft, TechOps announced the expansion of its workshop at the Querétaro International Airport, which is expected to generate 320 direct jobs and 550 indirect jobs in the short term.
The company's projection considers a hangar for four operating lines that would be added to the existing 16, and in the medium term a hangar to develop maintenance capabilities for the Airbus A320 family.
The governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, pointed out that the expansion within the next six months will increase the entity's aerospace capabilities.

In his speech, the executive director of MRO, Greg Colgan, said he was happy to invest in the region and mentioned that in the next two or three years, 1,200 more work spaces could be specified, which would be added to the 320 announced in the short term. .
"While we continue to take advantage of the conditions of the market and the local community, as well as their support also at the airport and in their office," he said.
He added that local suppliers of the different services that are necessary to support the operations that the company is in charge of will also benefit indirectly.
