There are a dozen of Amazon's operating properties in Mexico

With these new complexes, there are already 10 properties that the electronic commerce giant has in the country.

Amazon, the American e-commerce giant, announced that its four shipping centers in Mexico have come into operation, which will seek to improve the delivery time of packages.

The new shipping centers are located in the states of Sonora, Baja California, the State of Mexico and Yucatán. With these new properties, the company has a total of 10 centers nationwide, which are located in the State of Mexico (4); another in Jalisco and another in Nuevo León.

"At Amazon, we are committed to the communities in which we operate. We are proud to add 2,500 new jobs created by the new openings throughout the Mexican territory," said Diego Méndez de la Luz, director of operations of Amazon Mexico, through a statement.

Additionally, Amazon has 27 delivery stations throughout the country, through which more than 15 thousand jobs are generated, both direct and indirect.

The announcement is made just when the e-commerce giant turns six years after starting operations in Mexico.
