This weekend, the Secretariat for Territorial and Urban Agrarian Development (SEDATU) delivered more than 10 works in San Luis Río Colorado and Nogales, Sonora, according to the statement; it was also reported that more than two thousand housing actions were carried out in the two cities.

San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora

In this entity, the Secretariat carried out 10 works, through the Urban Improvement Program (PMU), and 894 housing actions through the National Housing Commission (Conavi).

The projects were: the new baseball stadium in Bosque de la Ciudad, three sports parks, a health and family medicine unit in ‘La Tortuga’, the kindergarten and the ‘Topahue’ primary school.

Faced with this situation, the head of SEDATU, Román Meyer Falcón, stated that: “this is what we have come to do, to complete works that were left by the past administration. The Secretariat leaves its mark on San Luis Río Colorado as well as on the rest of the northern border ”.

Regarding the housing actions, the Ministry invested 138 million pesos for improvement, expansion or construction.

Nogales, Sonora

In Nogales, six works were carried out through PMU and 1,150 housing shares through Conavi, in which it invested just over 446 million pesos.

The projects carried out were: the rehabilitation of the Osvaldo Romo Covarrubias Municipal High School, the Comprehensive Women's Center, ‘Virreyes’ Sports Unit, as well as the Crafts and Arts Factory (FAO) and the Estrellas Nogalenses Sports Unit.
