The National Chamber of Housing (Canadevi) began with the real estate project for the repopulation of 34 neighborhoods and colonies of the Historic Center and the city of Puebla for which 4 billion pesos will be invested.
The municipal president of Puebla, Eduardo Rivera Pérez signed the "Collaboration Agreement for Economic Reactivation and Employment Generation" with Canadevi and Infonavit, for this purpose.
Housing works will also be carried out in the area of the highway and others in properties near the Periférico Ecológico.

The act was held in the Santa Anita neighborhood, where the adaptation of real estate and the sale of homes with a value of 526 thousand 527 pesos will start.
The mayor indicated that it is expected that with this project some 15,000 residents of the capital will be able to obtain a decent house.
In this regard, Aristo Mario Goytora López, president of Canadevi mentioned that having a house is a primary need, so the execution of this project will cover that need.
The construction of these homes will generate 16,000 direct jobs and 14,000 indirect jobs.
With this agreement, it is expected that 3,957 homes will be built in the Municipality during the next three years, of which a thousand will be in the center of the city.

As part of the agreements of this Agreement, the City Council of Puebla undertakes to grant tax incentives for developers and individuals, such as Granting Zero Rate in the Tax on the Acquisition of Real Estate (ISABI), as well as the application of discounts of up to 100 percent in the payment of rights for the construction of houses in the Historic Center, of a social and popular scheme.
Another incentive is to equalize the costs of the municipal rights of vertical housing to the costs of horizontal housing, for obtaining housing construction licenses.
