Kavak, a Mexican company dedicated to buying and selling used cars in Latin America, recently opened Kavak City, its new automotive reconditioning center, located in the Kaizen Industrial Park, in the municipality of Colón, Queretaro.
This new center will have the capacity to condition 3,000 vehicles per month, and has an area of 60,000 square meters, of which 25,000 are under storage. The project is part of the investment plan that the company announced in 2021 for the state for 250 million pesos.

The facilities are the largest automotive reconditioning center in the Bajío region, since it has two more in the Plaza Antea and Puerta la Victoria shopping centers, in Querétaro, with more than a thousand cars in inventory; while at the national level it is the third most important, surpassed only by the State of Mexico and Jalisco.
Alejandro Guerra Escamez, general director of Kavak México, during the opening ceremony, thanked the support received from both the municipality and the state to be able to establish the necessary conditions for the growth of the company and highlighted the quality and talent of the workforce that has found in Queretaro.
For his part, the state governor, Mauricio Kuri González, congratulated the company's board of directors for betting on Querétaro to be part of its national expansion and pointed out that the company is an example of Mexican creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The new complex is part of Kavak's strategy to form the fifth largest automotive market in Mexico and strengthen its operations in the country, with a presence in 24 cities in seven countries around the world, with more than seven thousand employees distributed in 75 centers logistics and an inventory of 28 thousand cars.
