The Ministry of Economic Development (SEDECO) and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (SECTEI), signed an agreement with the Association of Real Estate Developers (ADI) to promote the participation of the real estate sector in the industrial zone of Vallejo-I.
The objective is to materialize the largest logistics and industrial innovation cluster in the Valley of Mexico, through three fundamental actions, the first being to establish meetings with businessmen to promote the available spaces.
It is followed by guiding investments and sustainable developments in the area and adjoining areas and finally designating liaisons to support the necessary steps to facilitate the arrival of new investments.
After the signing, the head of Sedeco, Fadlala Akabani, assured that Vallejo will be restored to its industrial vocation, which has a broad strategic value.

He pointed out that the area has one of the largest productions in the manufacturing industry, is a business center and a point of orderly sustainable development.
"Vallejo-I is capable of hosting technological and innovative companies, which will bring about the creation of formal and quality employment."
In addition to the ADI, the agreement was signed by the Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks, A.C, The Mexican Association of the Toy Industry. A.C,
CBRE Real Estate, S.A. de C.V, Tecnoparque, Vallejo Properties, Galdustry, among others.
According to information from Solili, Vallejo-I is one of the industrial zones with the greatest growth and demand in the Metropolitan Area.
It has more than 500 hectares of land and represents a contribution of more than 125 billion pesos in the production of the manufacturing industry.

At the end of 2021, it received an initial investment of 12 billion pesos from entrepreneurs, mainly from the aerospace industry.
On the other hand, 100 million pesos were invested for the Vallejo-I Data Processing Center, which began operations on February 1, 2022.
Some of the companies interested in this industrial space are Estafeta, Bimbo, Harinera Anáhuac, Pepsico, Intertek, Coparmex, Sears, among others.
