The aerospace industry in San Luis Potosí has had an outstanding growth in the last three years, given the boost from a foreign direct investment that totals more than 130 million dollars, according to the Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco).

The state has the presence of important national and international companies such as Tig-hitco Latin America, Eaton Truck Components and Aero Technologies of Mexico, with American origin, as well as Impro Industries Mexico of China and Diser Industrial, of Mexican capital.

The head of the agency, Jesús Salvador González Martínez, highlighted that during this period investments in the aerospace sector have increased 127.7%, which indicates the business confidence that is had in the entity and the facilities that companies have in all the processes that involve their installation and functionality.

It was stated that San Luis Potosí is ready to become a benchmark for the aerospace industry and it was assured that they continue working to make this an engine of economic development and a benchmark for the generation of direct jobs.
