After a tour of three countries in Europe, business leaders and the government of the state of Querétaro announced the interest of companies from that continent to strengthen their activities and investment in Mexico, including the food and beverage company, Nestlé, and the manufacturer of aeronautical components, Safran.
Esaú Magallanes Alonso, president of the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CANACINTRA) in Querétaro, who was part of the delegation convened by the Secretariat for Sustainable Development (SEDESU), commented in an interview with Reportero Industrial Mexicano, that during his visit in Nestlé's corporate office in Vevey, Switzerland, shared with him their investment project in the capital of Queretaro by 2026.

The intention is to consolidate a Circular Economy through the use of cleaner technologies that also help reduce the carbon footprint of its plants. "They see Querétaro as a good investment for their sustainability policies and strengthening of their operations."
Nestlé seeks to strengthen dual education models, whose objective is to train technical and engineering students with the skills and abilities that the industry requires in the field.
For its part, the French manufacturer of aircraft products, Safran, which also opened its doors to the Mexican delegation, also expressed its interest in this training model, focused above all on the development of supplier companies that strengthen the supply chain of the aerospace industry in Mexico, in order to streamline the production of its manufacturing plants, one of them, established precisely in the capital of Queretaro.

Magallanes described his visit to the old continent as favorable, since it served to ratify the investment intentions of European companies in Mexico and to align the strategies of industrial policy of Querétaro and the strategic activities of the Chamber.
It is vital that these types of visits be maintained as a follow-up to the business alliances of our state with other industrial entities around the world.
The head of SEDESU, Marco del Prete Tercero, was also accompanied on the tour by the heads of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism in Querétaro (CANACO); of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC) and the Aeronautical Cluster of Querétaro.
