This record is mainly promoted by Nissan, a company that increased its own exports in January of this year by 151.1 percent, followed by BMW, which achieved 144.9 percent, resulting in these two companies being the ones that dominate automotive exports with more than 20 percent.

This event caused Mexican car production to grow, with 307,069 units being assembled in the country last month, 9.6% more compared to the same period of time in 2023.

In both exports, Nissan also managed to be one of the largest national production engines with an annual increase of 25 percent by assembling 56,567 units, while General Motors surpassed with an assembly of 67,335 cars resulting in an annual increase of 19.9 percent.
