A delegation from the state administration will embark on a new tour of Europe, in order to finalize investment projects and hold diplomatic meetings.

The tour runs from July 17 to 22, days in which they will visit London, United Kingdom, and Paris, France, reported the Secretary of Sustainable Development (Sedesu), Marco Antonio Del Prete Trecero.

The representative of the state is expected to attend the meeting of the aerospace industry in Farnborough (Farnborough International Airshow), which will take place from July 18 to 22, in the United Kingdom. Querétaro has established itself as one of the main aerospace production centers in the country, so this sector will be present at the fair.

During the visit to England, a meeting is planned with representatives of the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry (Femia), of the Embassy of Mexico in the United Kingdom; also with directors of aerospace companies that are installed in the state, in this meeting the growth plans and possible expansions of the companies will be considered.

During the visit to France, meetings are planned with representatives of the Mexican Embassy in France, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Movement of French Companies (Medef).

The delegation will be made up of Governor Mauricio Kuri González, state secretaries and managers, as well as the president of the Aerospace Cluster, Juan Carlos Corral Marín.

In the first quarter of the year, the entity captured 121.8 million dollars of French investment, making it the third largest amount of the entity in that period, according to records of the Ministry of Economy.
