“If before this we were in seventh place in the Americas and 14th worldwide, in data centers, in computing capacity, with this we are going to almost 400 megawatts, we are going to have a significant increase,” he declared. Regarding the materialization of other data centers that are in the process of being installed in the entity, the state secretary said that this process will depend on various factors: market, guarantee of electricity supply, among others.

The director of the Energy Agency of the State of Querétaro (AEEQ), Mauricio Reyes Caracheo, clarified that this data center campus will have its own energy substation, an infrastructure independent of what the state government plans to install.
