Querétaro has a portfolio of 67 investment projects, that is, they are capitals with the intention of settling in the entity. Together, if materialized, they represent investments of 104,259 million pesos, in addition to implying the creation of 28,107 jobs, said the Secretary of Sustainable Development (Sedesu), Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero.
However, this 2022 (as of October 21) 43 projects have been completed for the state, which added investments of 20,380 million pesos to generate 11,893 jobs in the short and medium term.

Among the completed projects, the participation of Mexican companies stands out. Nine of the 43 projects are companies in the country, which represent 20.9% in an investment of more than 1,167 million pesos and the generation of 1,558 potential jobs, said the state secretary.
Only this week, the arrival of three investment projects for 779 million pesos was confirmed. Among them, the one announced by TSN, a New Zealand firm that develops strategic solutions for various industries, stands out; The company will spend 500 million pesos to establish a new headquarters in the entity, where it plans to create 500 jobs.
Also this week Michelin announced that it will install a new tire retreading plant in the entity and expand its BF Goodrich tire production line, investing 150 million pesos and creating 211 jobs.
Similarly, Petco, an American retailer of pet products, will spend 129 million pesos to install a Shared Services Center in the entity, where it employs 530 people.

To these projects is added the investment of 12 million dollars that Safran foresees in the state by 2025, an investment confirmed by the director of Strategy for Safran in Mexico, Edgar Ciceño, within the framework of the Mexico Business Summit.
