What to do so as not to lose the previous score of the Migration of companies by outsourcing?
Real Estate Market & Lifestyle | September 13, 2021 |

Faced with the reform in the matter of labor subcontracting or outsourcing, among many workers and beneficiaries of the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) there have been doubts about the score and a possible decrease.

Given this, through a statement, the institution clarified that so that they do not lose their points to access a loan, Infonavit established special criteria so that they retain the score they had prior to the migration of the company to this new scheme.

This is due to the fact that many companies, in order to follow up on the labor subcontracting reform, make adjustments to the payrolls of their employees, as well as for their registration through the new or existing Employer Registration Number (NRP), abandoning said figure .

Technically, the workers who were part of this migration work for a new company, so their points to access an Infonavit loan would be affected.

However, the Institute established some criteria so that the pre-migration score is not lost, as long as the NRP to which they were assigned is associated with the business group for which they work.

In order for workers to access this benefit, the company for which they work must enter the business portal and carry out an NRP association procedure with the Institute.

In this process, it is detailed which was the origin NRP and which is the destination NRP, with the intention of identifying those movements derived from the reform.
