Previously it was known as the IMEI Award but as of 2019 it acquired its current name, thanks to the alliance with the Building Owners and Managers Association; association of building owners and managers in the United States with 107 years of experience.
The recognition distinguishes nationally the most outstanding in the evolution of real estate projects in different categories. The selection of the winners is carried out by a qualifying jury made up of 22 judges, two for each discipline.
11 disciplines are considered for the evaluation of each building: Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical Installation, Plumbing Installation, Air Conditioning Installation, Security and Safeguarding, Automation and Control System, ICT, Interior Transportation, Sustainability and Energy Efficiency and, finally, Operation And maintenance
During the award ceremony, held last March, the categories of corporate office and mixed-use buildings stood out, recognitions that help create more efficient and sustainable buildings and therefore a better future.
