In the first quarter of 2022, the Ministry of Economy of the state of Puebla expects that five clusters focused on the agri-food industry will take place; textile and clothing; commerce, services, innovation and creative industries; education, as well as business services and information technology.

Olivia Salomón, head of the agency, explained that the training for the formation of these clusters will take place at the end of the year, using the Puebla-Tlaxcala automotive cluster as a model, which is the one consolidated in the entity.

He also explained that they will be inviting the sectors of the regions in Puebla to participate, so that entrepreneurs know the methodology to follow and the success stories, which motivates broad participation.

He argued that the state government will participate with resources to specify these figures that are necessary in the development of the entity and will contribute to the competitiveness of the different sectors. 

We are using the methodology of the Institute (of Collaboration and Competitiveness) Tuning, which uses this Harvard methodology, of Michael Porter, who is the creator of the concept of clusters.

Salomón Vibaldo trusted that the economic recovery of the state will take place in 2022, when companies could be operating at 100% and that the different markets will begin to respond not only in Mexico but in the world.

He made it clear that there will be no more business closings in this Covid-19 pandemic, when what is wanted is that they can improve their sales and try to create jobs.

While the cases of contagion decrease, the state official urged the businessmen to continue operating under the established sanitary regulations that imply having reduced capacity.

Likewise, the state government will participate with resources to specify these figures that are necessary in the development of the entity.
