NYX Mexico Plastics arrives in Coahuila with an investment of 25 million dollars

Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís announced the arrival of the company NYX México Plastics to the municipality of Arteaga, where it will invest 25 million dollars in its plant and generate 1,200 direct jobs.

NYX is a company dedicated to the creation of plastic interiors for automotive parts, and the plant in Arteaga will produce auto parts for the Tesla company, which will be located in Texas, and for the General Motors plant in Ramos Arizpe in the manufacturing project of electric cars.

“We are very pleased that they are able to strengthen our Automotive Cluster, a sector in which we are national leaders. Today you support the consolidation of this Cluster, of which we are proud and that is our economic strength, ”said Riquelme Solís, welcoming the directors of this company.

He recalled that Coahuila ranks second in the country in exports and the first in the manufacture of transportation equipment.

Miguel Riquelme reported that his Administration has already registered the arrival of 119 investment projects for a total amount of 7.8 billion dollars.

Miguel Riquelme reiterated to the directors of the company his support and that of his work team so that they can soon start operations in this new factory, with the guarantees of those who have trusted Coahuila, and that they have also done well: "And they are witnesses that the best effort is made here to continue attracting industry, to continue generating the rule of law and the competitiveness required by those who trust our entity, ”said the governor of Coahuila.

Genaro de la Cruz, manager of the NYX plant, reported that this company is currently working in San Luis Potosí, and that now they will have the opportunity to start up this new plant in Coahuila.

For his part, the municipal president of Arteaga, Everardo Durán Flores, welcomed this company that will be installed in the Davisa Industrial Park.

According to Solili, at the end of 2Q 2021 Saltillo registered a high level in industrial demand that above 100,000 square meters, exceeding the figure observed in 1Q 2021.
