"Of course our backbone is manufacturing and industry, but investment is already beginning to arrive that has to do with Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Electromobility," said the local official.
The state Secretary of Economy highlighted the FDI that Nuevo León received in the fourth quarter of 2021, which amounted to 921.7 million dollars, which represented 24.3% of all national investment.
“Investment is coming to Nuevo León, due to the human capital we have, 8,000 engineers graduated per year and 20,000 technicians; also because of the new infrastructure that is being built, such as the La Gloria-Colombia highway, to bring the Monterrey metropolitan area closer to the United States; the growth of the Colombia Bridge and security, investors see it as an investment pole”, he specified.
