On February 9, Torre Hélix was inaugurated in Guadalajara, a boutique building that stands out thanks to its unique and modern design, betting on functionality, exclusivity and the avant-garde.
It is a mixed-use building, which will house a commercial area on the lower level and 16 floors for offices. One of the features that will make the proposal a benchmark for the city is the torsion with which it has been designed.

Located on Avenida de las Américas, the most important financial artery in Guadalajara, Hélix stands on an area of 801 square meters, tucked seven meters above the sidewalk to leave a generous plaza outside the complex.
Each floor rotates about its center of gravity 1.5 degrees with respect to the previous floor, which results in a 27.5 degree phase shift between the lower floor and the last level.
It has a communications core leaning towards the south façade which, together with the torsion of the volume, makes the building more rigid and behaves better in the event of an earthquake.
In addition, the turn generates a shadow on itself, allowing optimal thermal behavior that allows responding to the climatic conditions of the city.
Of interest: Even with hybrid work, offices will remain necessary
Hélix will have a low density of users, so it will be easy to maintain a healthy social distance between its tenants.
The development of the project was led by allies that made it possible: Grupo DIM, developer partner and in charge of the execution of work and construction; ADAI Ingenieros Arquitectos, developer partner; WSP Mexico, a leading professional engineering services firm; Eosis, a company specializing in sustainable business consulting, and Colliers, marketer of Torre Hélix.
