New shared services center installs Petco in Querétaro

The state governor, Mauricio Kuri González, announced the installation of the Petco Shared Services Center, which arrives in Querétaro with an investment of US$6.4 million, and the generation of 530 highly specialized jobs.

Kuri highlighted that this investment consolidates the United States as the entity's main commercial partner, with more than 540 companies that make up a work community in Querétaro.

“Today we demonstrate once again that Querétaro is the best place for companies. We are ready, we have the height, the quality and the capacity to receive them”, added Kuri.

For his part, the head of Petco's Office of Personnel Management, John Zavada, reiterated that Petco's mission is to improve the quality of life for pets, and emphasized that Mexicans share the same passion for caring for animals. .

The head of the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, reported that during the first half of this year US$231 million have arrived from the United States in the area of Foreign Direct Investment.

He also specified that so far this year six investment projects have been completed in the United States for more than US$171 million and the generation of 2,219 jobs.
