New center for design and innovation 4.0 in Aguascalientes

As part of the commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the Universidad Tecnológica de Aguascalientes (UTA), the inauguration of the Center for Design, Development and Innovation 4.0 (CICMA) was held.

The building has laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment that benefit the professional training of young people, in connection with companies.

The institution has strengthened national development with a global campus made up of 17 buildings where bilingual educational programs and dual training are taught.

The UTA works with more than 200 local, national and international companies on specific projects. Another factor to highlight is the collaboration of the State Government that has provided so that the institution continues to evolve constantly.

The UTA was one of the first three technological universities in Mexico and to date it has trained 18,314 highly trained and competitive professionals.

For his part, Martín Orozco, governor of the State of Aguascalientes pointed out that with the beginning of industrialization in the state, the UTA responded to the need at that time and over 30 years, it has evolved to continue providing a relevant educational offer, innovative and quality, responding to new challenges in the industrial sector globally.

The president recognized the efforts of all the people who for three decades have built an institution that today has woven academic networks with universities in other countries, prioritizes languages and new technologies in its students, and is also committed to the environment and society .

The building, which has laboratories and equipment, will encourage young people to continue their studies using as resources the technologies used in different world-class companies that operate in Aguascalientes.
