Grupo Neolpharma presented its investment project in the State of Mexico (Edomex) for the year 2024, which consists of the construction of a Distribution Center (Cedis) and a new plant for the manufacture of vials.

The state governor, Alfredo Del Mazo Maza, reported that the company's initiative will have a capital injection of approximately 123 million dollars.

After a meeting with executives of the pharmaceutical company, including Efrén Ocampo López, president and executive director, the president highlighted his government's strategy to promote the Mexican economy, focused on making the state the main logistics hub in the country.

It is worth mentioning that Neolpharma is a national company with 45 years of experience in the production and development of pharmaceutical products.

To date, it has registered 250 products in medical branches such as neurosciences, oncology, dermatology, gastroenterology, pneumology and cardiovascular.

Neolpharma's investment plans in Edomex for the next two years also include the acquisition of new technology for the Toluca plant and the expansion of its warehouses in Ecatepec.

This expansion will create about 1,470 jobs, while strengthening production lines in state territory, and optimizing its distribution capacity in the center of the country.

The arrival of this kind of investment project has been one of the catalysts for the industrial real estate market of Edomex.
