Vertiv inaugurated a thermal plant that will produce, mainly, large cooling systems for data centers. The extension of the facilities is around 40 thousand square meters, in a field of approximately 88 thousand square meters. The construction of these facilities is estimated to generate 1,500 jobs.

The new plant linked to information technology will serve various industries of the future that require more advanced technology, such as the sector of cybersecurity, electromobility and artificial intelligence, said Iván Rivas, Secretary of Economy of Nuevo León.

The company expanded operations to meet the growing demands on data center infrastructure, derived from trends such as digital transformation and the development associated with hyperscale facilities, said Felipe Sandoval, global vice president of industrial transformation, and Dayana González, director of human resources .

Jason Forvier, director of operations at Vertiv, stated that “the intention is to continuously expand Vertiv's presence in the region's market, supported by its Center of Excellence for Production in the Americas”.
