Pizza Hut inaugurated its plant built in Querétaro, which represented an investment of 7.5 million dollars and will generate 150 direct jobs in the food sector.
Juan Luis Bueno, general director of Food Delivery Brands Mexico, said that he is pleased to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company's arrival in Mexico, and with the inauguration of a new plant in this entity, it will be distinguished by the use of the technology in the optimization of delivery capacities and sales channels, as well as in sustainability.

“We have chosen Querétaro as a development platform for our brand in Mexico. Among other aspects, due to its geographical location and the impulse of the local authorities, which have given us, in addition to the transport, logistics and road infrastructure, commercial and cultural growth”, he pointed out.
He highlighted that the company aims to invest more than 30 million dollars in Mexico and turn Querétaro into the organization's hub, since the corporate offices, a center of excellence in training and education, as well as the Development and Innovation Center.

He also assured that in a first phase, about 14 million kilograms of dough will be produced, which translates into 31 million pizzas. The plant, which has 7,000 square meters, is located in the KAIZEN Industrial Park, in the municipality of Colón, and will supply raw materials to its business network throughout Mexico, and in the short term to Latin America and the Caribbean.
