GG Trailers, dedicated to the manufacture of equipment for the transportation industry, particularly tank trucks and 40- and 52-foot container chassis, invested 16 million dollars in the construction of its plant located in the municipality of Frontera, Coahuila.
The products are aimed at supplying the markets of Mexico, the United States and Canada, due to the advantage offered by T-MEC and it is expected to produce 6,000 chassis per year.
He added that each region of the state is different, so it has been sought to complement them, to promote the economic development of the supply chain, in the five regions of the state.

“GG Trailers is a clear example of our commitment to diversify the productive branches in the Central and Carboniferous regions. Thank you for believing in our entity, for investing and for giving good news in the Central region”, emphasized the president.
He added that the state has the necessary conditions for the success of all investments through different strategies, together with local companies and investors who visit, explore and decide to stay in Coahuila.
GG Trailers created its own Welding Training Center, where the necessary training is offered to hire personnel efficiently and safely, he stressed.
For his part, Gerardo Benavides Pape, Chairman of the Board of Grupo Industrial Monclova, commented that the company believes in Coahuila and will continue to invest in the state not only because of its proximity to the largest market in the world, but also because of its qualified workforce, the security and rule of law, as well as the availability of inputs, such as steel, which allows them to create more and better jobs.

Miguel Riquelme, governor of the entity, explained that teamwork has begun on the construction of the first auto parts supply plants of the new Electric Automotive Cluster, which will bring more employment, growth and economic benefits to the five regions of the state.
He emphasized that Coahuila has recovered at the end of the pandemic with 37,166 jobs, and from January to July, 28,379 jobs have been created.
