Norcast is a company of Mexican origin that stands out in the metal-mechanic industry and that for almost 20 years has focused on the production of aluminum parts for different productive sectors.
In order to gain a presence in the north of the country, it will inaugurate its plant in Coahuila to increase its production volume, being its second plant in the country, since the other is located in the state of Nuevo León.

José Francisco Clariond, chief executive of Norcast, said that 25 million dollars will be invested in this project that will have a territorial extension of 10,000 square meters and will be located in the Global Industrial Park in the city of Torreón.
The company is tasked with driving the growth of the local value chain in order to find all the necessary supplies. Clariond said that Tesla's arrival in the north of the country will be an incentive for all the suppliers in the area, adding that they currently work for Milwaukee Tools in Torreón, however, they could also participate with the electric vehicle assembly company.

Lastly, Claudio Bres Garza, State Secretary of Economy, said that investments in Coahuila are the product of coordinated work between the three levels of government and thanks to the certainty provided to investors.

He pointed out that in the first three months of 2023, 18 investment projects have been completed and that before the end of the governor's current administration, all the regions of Coahuila will have been consolidated as a destination for foreign companies.
“The entity has three very important advantages that help foreign companies decide to settle here, such as qualified labor, quality of life and legal certainty. These facts, without a doubt, are what drive the economic engine of the region,” the official concluded.
