Fang Te Chou, vice president of Noah Itech Mexico, indicated that Nuevo León is a strong, well-connected and hospitable state for foreign investment. Among his clients are: Quanta Computer, GM, companies like Google and Facebook, and in the part of electromobility they are working with many clients, he said.

For his part, Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda, governor of Nuevo León, stressed that the state continues to announce the arrival or expansion of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) every week.

In his opinion, FDI arrives because the state knows how to sell the advantages of settling in Nuevo León: in addition to its proximity to the United States, and the phenomenon of nearshoring or relocating companies near their main clients, having human capital of first level.

The governor explained that the municipality of Santa Catarina is part of the Saltillo-Monterrey corridor, which is consolidated to quickly export to the United States.

"By settling in this plant, the local government is committed to improving the peripheral, the bypass to Laredo and having alternative routes to get there quickly," said Samuel García.

Iván Rivas Rodríguez, Secretary of Economy, mentioned that investments come to Nuevo León due to its infrastructure and human capital.
