Nearshoring will position Tijuana as an investment center

Nearshoring is consolidated as a phenomenon with global impact and Mexico is a strategic destination for the relocation of business operations. In this context, the border city of Tijuana has taken the leading role as the epicenter of opportunities, according to experts.

For Cristina Hermosillo, president of the Economic and Industrial Development of Tijuana (Deitac), this situation has allowed the arrival of new investments.

On the other hand, the expert pointed out that Tijuana is an example of how nearshoring can be a catalyst for economic and social development.
