The firm dedicated to the distribution of natural gas and electricity generation will seek to strengthen its systems to reach 42,000 new customers

The Coahuila 2023 Industrial Meeting was recently held, with the aim of promoting the arrival of new investments and jobs in the entity. There, the national investment project of more than 1,500 million pesos by the Naturgy Group, dedicated to distributing natural gas and generating electricity, was analyzed.

According to the information, of said amount, 300 million pesos will be destined to the southeastern region of the state.

In this sense, the network growth plan in the Saltillo, Ramos Arizpe and Arteaga area was announced, to maintain and strengthen the commitment that exists with the main industrial parks, as well as to strengthen the opening of future and new investments. .

In this regard, Claudio Mario Bres Garza, Secretary of the Economy of Coahuila, indicated that the agreement with Grupo Naturgy contributes to the economic development of the entity and will have a significant impact on the metropolitan area.

In addition, he took the opportunity to add that the region is celebrating 30 years without strikes, a situation that demonstrates the capacity for agreement between the industry, employers, and the labor sector.

For his part, the Director of Operations of Naturgy Mexico, Francisco Ripoll Alcalde, highlighted the coordinated work that has been carried out with the government of Coahuila and local authorities to be able to carry out this project.

He also explained that among the complete plan, it is considered to reinforce a system that already exists to reach 42,000 new clients and put a new 100-kilometer network to give them the supply they require and potentiate the development of the state.
