Municipality of Tonalá seeks to become a metropolitan logistics point

In the last three years, the municipality of Tonalá modified its vocation from agricultural to industrial and is preparing to become the logistics hub of the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, stated its president, Sergio Chávez.

Highlighting its strategic location and connectivity, as well as a territorial reserve of 3 thousand hectares available, they are attracting significant investments to the municipality that between 2023 and 2024 amounted to 710 million dollars.

Chávez mentioned that Tonalá has communication routes such as the Zapotlanejo highway that connects Guadalajara with Mexico City and the Bajío area, in addition to the new peripheral, the free highway to Zapotlanejo and the macro-library, without forgetting that the Guadalajara airport is only 20 minutes away.

In the polygon where the highways to Zapotlanejo and the new peripheral converge, the Guadalajara Regional Pharmacy Distribution Center is being installed and the new Cedis of Coca-Cola and Alsea are being built, as well as the third Industrial park of the Elite group .
